Alachua County's housing ranges from early twentieth-century houses near downtown Gainesville to planned neighborhoods such as Haile Plantation and newer subdivisions around Tioga, and then out to farm properties west of Newberry and Archer. Each needs something different from a lock, and a locksmith can match hardware to the door you actually have.

Soft wood around the strike

Damp air, termites and decades of screws going in and out can leave the wood around an older door frame soft. A new deadbolt mounted into that wood will still give way. Replace, or just rekey?
